Your Weight Loss Journey Explained

We would like to encourage you to consider that you are not alone if you’re afraid to take that first step in establishing contact with a clinic. Apprehension over taking that first step is often the result of being caught between emotions of ‘acceptance’ and ‘commitment’:

Acceptance that the world we live in is not conducive to dieting and that you are NOT a failure because you haven’t been able to achieve your weight loss goals through such methods; and, commitment to never giving up your health and quality of life needs as you continue to seek a resolution to free yourself from the shackles of obesity. You only take the first step alone, we’ll take every other step with you.

As you can see above, you get a chance to meet everyone who will become part of your support network before surgery. Your personal dietitian and psychologist are there to assist you every step of the way, ensuring you make the most of your weight loss journey. Depending on your circumstances, you can expect to complete this phase, Step 1 to Surgery, in as little as 2-4 weeks. See Phase 2 (Your First 12 Months)
