It is an even greater honour to be placed in such distinguished ranks as those of the past recipients, the health care industry leaders I look upon, all of whom have made significant contributions to the medical sector internationally.

Special thanks to my team at WeightLoss Solutions Australia, from the customer care to the medical experts, for committing to our professions and passionately pursuing our vision to end the obesity epidemic in our country.

It was not too long ago that the bariatric industry was in its infancy, with doubts and confusion of what the surgical procedures could  do to assist with weight loss. We have faced and overcome challenges since the year 2000 and today, we are proud to be one of  the leading centres in Australia, taking major initiatives to help shift the nation’s awareness about obesity as well as understanding how the medical interventions can truly save lives.

At WLSA, we feel very fortunate to have a strong community of #WeightLossWarriors, industry partners, as well as support from the government that has started to give focus on this critical disease.

It has been my lifelong passion to help Australians become healthier and happier, to live their best lives. We must continue to work together in making the scientific breakthroughs and foster a positive understanding of this industry – with respect to the patients, medical professionals as well as the researchers.
