This week, we celebrate the successful WeightLoss of Laurelle Risdale. Here’s her story:

Well, it has taken me 10 months to reach my goal weight and feeling really healthy and proud of my personal achievement of been able to change and the way I look at life now. The other thing I love to do now is shopping for clothes!!!!

Current Weight – 70kg in January 2018

It has been the best decision I have ever made. Now I’m getting used to being the smaller size. From a size 22 to a 12!

This week, we celebrate the successful WeightLoss of Laurelle Risdale. Here’s her story:

I am a wife of 40 years, have 2 grown up daughters, 6 wonderful grandchildren and work in the childcare industry. For most of my adult life, I have been overweight and a yo-yo dieter. Reaching my heaviest in May 2017 of 107.5kg was the last straw but due to a complex back injury and medical issues, exercise has been difficult, and I spoke to my long-time doctor about receiving a Gastric Sleeve.

I was referred to WeightLoss Solutions Australia on the Gold Coast and started preparing for the procedure. By cutting out soft drinks and all takeaway (even the healthy kind), when I went in to have the gastric sleeve on the 19^th June, I weighed 97.5kg. Today I weigh 76.2kg and look and feel so much better, physically and mentally.

I don’t cringe when I walk past a mirror anymore and can now sit on the floor and cross my legs which I haven’t been able to do for a very long time! I actually enjoy shopping for clothes now don’t feel like an old woman. While I still have another 15kg to lose, I wouldn’t be at the weight I am today without the amazing love and support of my family and friends, and the support and guidance from the wonderful team at Weightloss Solutions.
